George Ashley is co-founder and president of Ashley Quinn, CPAs and Consultants, Ltd., a Firm which concentrates on income and estate tax planning and compliance for high-net-worth individuals, their families and their closely-held business entities. The Firm also specializes in multi-state income tax planning and compliance and state income tax minimization accomplished through Nevada residency.
George is a 1973 graduate of California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and a Reno-Tahoe area resident since 1976. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Nevada and California, as well as a Certified Valuation Analyst. In addition to public accounting, George has been a Revenue Auditor with the State of California, and vice-president of a Tahoe Basin real estate development and recreation company.
Outside of work, George’s serves as a board member and officer of Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation and has also served as a board member and officer of Nevada Museum of Art and Thunderbird Lodge Preservation Society. George and his wife, Pattie, recently celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary and enjoy sailing, golf, cooking, and travel.

CRAIG J. IVERSON

Craig graduated from the University of California, Davis in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Managerial Economics, and began his professional career in the private sector, where he held controllership and managerial positions with a Bay Area engineering firm, as well as the Squaw Valley Ski Corporation. In 1992, he joined Ashley Quinn Nelson, CPAs, and is currently licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Nevada and California.Craig received a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1995. Craig is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. In 1993, his educational achievements resulted in his admission to Beta Gamma Sigma, the national honor society for collegiate schools of business. Other affiliations include Treasurer and Board Member of the North Tahoe Region of the American Youth Soccer Organization, and active member of the Truckee Alliance for Musical Arts. Craig lives in Squaw Valley, California with his wife and three children, where he enjoys mountaineering and backcountry skiing. His other interests include traveling, playing the piano, and watching his children play soccer.

SUSAN W. JONES

Sue graduated from University of Nevada, Reno in 1991, and is a Certified Public Accountant in Nevada and California. She joined Ashley Quinn in 1994 and has over 20 years of experience providing accounting and tax services to individuals, trusts and closely held businesses.
Sue works closely with clients to develop tax strategies to execute client goals and objectives. She has significant experience in real estate and partnership transactions, multi-state issues and reporting, and representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service, Franchise Tax Board and other taxing authorities.
A resident of Zephyr Cove, Lake Tahoe since 1979, Sue and her husband Scott feel very fortunate to have raised their three children in Tahoe. Outside of work, Sue enjoys her family and ice-skating, snow-skiing, and water-skiing.

JEFFREY A. QUINN

Jeff started his professional career in the San Francisco office of PriceWaterhouseCoopers (formerly Price Waterhouse) in 1970, upon graduation from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. After almost ten years of practice in the large firm environment, he relocated to Incline Village, where he has practiced ever since. He is a Certified Public Accountant in both Nevada and California, and also holds a Masters of Science in Taxation degree from Golden Gate University, in San Francisco.
Jeff's professional affiliations include memberships in the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Jeff is a former member of the board of trustees of the Incline Village Community Hospital Foundation. He has also served as President of the Incline Village/Crystal Bay Chamber of Commerce and the Incline Village Rotary Club, and is an Emeritus Trustee of Sierra Nevada College. In 1986, the Chamber of Commerce named him the Incline Village "Citizen of the Year".
Jeff's primary avocation is golf, and he holds memberships in the Montreux Country Club and the Incline Village Golf Club. Following the San Francisco 49ers, attending "traditional" jazz festivals, and playing the banjo are also favorite hobbies.

SUSAN F. ROSENSTEEL

Sue has been with the Ashley Quinn since 1988, implementing countless improvements and changes that have allowed the firm to establish and maintain a quality reputation over the last twenty years of continued growth.
Sue oversees firm administration and is responsible for supervising in-house and client bookkeeping. She also establishes and manages family business offices for high net worth families. Sue is enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service, and is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents, as well as the Nevada Society of Enrolled Agents. Sue has accumulated extensive experience in multi-state tax issues and reporting.
Sue and her husband Norman travel frequently between Las Vegas and Northern Nevada maintaining homes, children, and business connections in both areas. She enjoys playing golf, skiing, cooking and traveling with her family.

GREGORY G. YUP
Shareholder, CPA
Upon graduation from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Greg began his professional career in 1985 with the (then) Big Ten accounting firm of Grant Thornton. He has been in public accounting his entire professional career, and with Ashley Quinn, CPAs since 1994. His areas of specialization include manufacturing and the health care profession.Greg's professional affiliations include memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the Reno Chamber of Commerce. Greg is a Reno native, and his family has been an active part of northern Nevada's community for over fifty years. Due to his family's prominent history, Greg's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Yup, were recently featured on the cover of Nevada Bell's northern Nevada telephone directory. Greg lives in Reno with his wife, Michelle, and two children.

MARGUERITA BARRAZA

Marguerita joined Ashley Quinn in May of 2000. She is responsible for client bookkeeping and the accounting for Ashley Quinn. She is also a Certified Quickbooks Pro Advisor. Prior to Ashley Quinn, Marguerita was employed for fifteen years in the Accounting Department at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe.
An Incline Village native, Marguerita, along with her three children, continues to live in Incline Village. She enjoys reading, cooking, traveling and attending all of her kids sporting and school events.

RHONDA L. BOHN
Accountant, Quickbooks Pro Advisor
Rhonda has been with Ashley Quinn since July 1999. Rhonda’s background of 25 years in public accounting, along with some private industry experience and a bachelors degree in business management, have given her a thorough understanding of various accounting software packages, and the needs of clients in many types of businesses. Rhonda has gained an extensive knowledge of QuickBooks software and is a designated Quickbooks Pro Advisor.
Rhonda and her husband John, along with their two sons are residents of Incline Village and take an active part in community activities. They still find time to ski, boat and enjoy the mountains.

ROCHELLE K. EVANS
CPA
Rochelle graduated from the University of Washington in March of 1987 with a B.A. in Speech Communications and shortly thereafter added a concentration in accounting. Rochelle has worked in the accounting industry (both private and public) for over 25 years, focusing on public accounting since November of 1996. She obtained her license to practice public accounting through the state of Washington in December of 1997.
She brings to Ashley Quinn a unique background involving hands on experience in the financial services industry, where she held both Series 7 and 63 licenses with the NASD and an insurance license for life/disability. Her last private position in Washington State was as the Controller of a holding corporation with three wholly owned subsidiaries: an asset management firm, a broker dealership, and a venture capital corporation, all of which she helped to organize in their initial years of operation. She relocated to Nevada in January of 2000 to join Ashley Quinn, CPAs and Consultants. She obtained her Nevada CPA license in July of 2002.
Her professional affiliations include memberships with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Nevada State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
A native of Nevada, Rochelle graduated from high school in one of northern Nevada’s rural communities. Rochelle loves animals and the outdoors, and enjoys running, camping, hiking and movies.

Melodee Ferguson is an administrative professional with the enthusiasm and skills to garner impressive results. With the firm since 1993, she is committed to providing unparalleled customer service and maintaining exceptional client relationships critical to the continued success of the firm. She constantly evaluates the operational needs of the firm and works consistently to deliver what is expected.
Melodee lends the firm exceptional organizational skills, and a professional yet friendly approach that our clients find refreshing. She is responsible for a wide variety of functions within the firm - from the organization and implementation of key inter-company factors, to the input and assembly of income tax returns.
Melodee enjoys cooking, hiking and spending time at the beach.

CLIFFORD A. FOSTER
CPA
Cliff graduated from California State University, Fresno in 1977. He went to work for a regional accounting firm in his home town of Salinas California and received his California CPA certificate in 1979. Cliff has over 30 years of combined public and private industry experience as a CPA and a corporate controller.
Cliff and his family moved to the Carson Valley in late 2004 and Cliff joined Ashley Quinn in early 2005. He received his Nevada CPA license in 2004. Cliff has always enjoyed new educational challenges and has taken many classes in real estate and real estate appraisal. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University.
When he's not working or studying, Cliff and his family love to enjoy water sports, primarily boating and jet skiing. For years, Cliff and his wife, Renee, enjoyed watching their daughter, Michelle, compete in soccer. Now that she is a college student, the three of them enjoy watching others play the game.

KEVIN R. HAMEISTER
CPA
Kevin graduated from California State University, San Marcos in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. He began his professional career at a public accounting firm specializing in taxation for real estate based entrepreneurs and their closely held companies. After four years of tax compliance and planning services he left the firm to serve as the controller for a commercial real estate owner and developer. He relocated to Incline Village in July of 2012 to join the Ashley Quinn team. He advocates proactive tax planning with respect to financial and tax transactions emphasizing that by the time the return is filed, strategic opportunities might be lost.
He is currently licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in California and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Kevin and his wife Shannon had both previously lived in the Tahoe area before moving to North San Diego County to pursue educational and career opportunities. Their love for the mountains and related outdoor activities finally pulled them back to the area after a twelve year hiatus.

JIN KIM

Jin graduated from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting and Finance along with music minor. Jin began her professional career with DCA Services as a G/L Accountant for its sister company, Matrix Telecommunications in Oklahoma. After three years of private industry experience, she moved to California and joined a local CPA firm where she gained experience in all facets of public accounting. She joined Ashley Quinn in June of 2008.
Jin is currently licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Nevada and California. Jin is also licensed as a Certified Fraud Examiner. Her professional affiliations include memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. She is also actively involved in volunteering for community organizations and professional development events.
Jin lives in Reno with her husband and two daughters. Her interests include golf, snowboarding, reading and traveling.

TAMMY S. LOVE

Tammy graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Her professional career started with a large regional CPA firm in Detroit. She has over 15 years of combined public and private industry experience as a CPA and corporate controller. Tammy moved to Reno in 1999 and joined Ashley Quinn in January 2012.
Tammy is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Nevada. Her professional affiliations include memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Nevada State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Tammy received a Master of Accountancy from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2002. She volunteers for community events and served as a board member of Pack PAWS (Promoting and Advancing Women in Sports). Tammy’s primary passions are golfing at Somersett Golf and Country Club and all things involving the Nevada Wolf Pack. She also enjoys the theater, reading and traveling.

PAMELA RIEK
Front Desk Receptionist
Pamela Riek is a certified Life Coach and Paralegal. Her experience working with clients, deadlines and multiple projects at one time lends itself well to the Front Desk Receptionist position at Ashley Quinn CPA’s and Consultants.
Pamela and her husband Tom recently moved to Incline Village, NV along with their golden retriever fur child named, Autumn.
Pamela enjoys travel, hiking, camping, cooking, reading, friends and the beach.

LISA TRAINOR
CPA, MBA
Lisa graduated from the University of California, Sacramento with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accountancy. She began her professional career with the Sacramento office of Ernst & Young LLP. She received a Master of Business Administration degree from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ in 2002 and began working for Ashley Quinn in February 2004. Lisa has also taught accounting and tax classes at the Tahoe-Truckee campus of Sierra College.
She is currently licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in California and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Lisa and her husband Ryan live in Truckee, CA and are parents to Scout, a yellow lab. Her interests include traveling, skiing, hiking, and relaxing at the beach. In September 2005, she completed hiking the Tahoe Rim Trail and became a member of the Rim Trail's 165-mile club.

DEREK R. VAUGHAN

Derek graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He began his professional career in Colorado within the ski industry. He has over ten years of private sector accounting experience and has held managerial and controllership positions. Derek began working for Ashley Quinn in January 2011.
Before moving to Lake Tahoe in 2009, Derek and his wife Audrey spent two years traveling to eleven countries and working in New Zealand and Alaska. His interests include traveling, snowboarding, mountain biking and hiking.

JULIE ZANGARA
IT and Administrative Support
Currently in her third year with Ashley Quinn, Julie has moved into a new position within the firm. She is now assisting with IT support and expanding as an administrative professional, Julie’s organizational skills and efficiency are helping to ensure operational success at Ashley Quinn.
Competent and courteous, providing our clients with high-end customer service, Julie has proven herself an asset to the Ashley Quinn team.
A Tahoe resident for 15 years, Julie enjoys travel, hiking, backpacking and boating in the summer months. Prior to joining our staff, she worked as a coordinator for domestic and international student travel for nine years.
