Brent graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Managerial Economics, where he was also a captain of the UC Davis Rugby Club. He began his professional career at Chevron and moved to Houston, TX to perform financial analysis of US Payroll, Executive Compensation, and eventually global benefit cost breakdown. He attended the University of Houston at night to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam. In 2021 he and his wife relocated to her hometown of Reno, NV to raise a family. He has years of experience in helping clients prepare individual, pass-through, corporate, trust, and estate tax filings.

Brent is an Eagle Scout and continues to explore the great outdoors with his wife and their growing family.
